WBB Faces Off With TCU Saturday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina women's basketball team is back in action at Carmichael Arena on Saturday afternoon, hosting TCU for a 1 p.m. tipoff. Both the 12th-ranked Tar Heels and the Horned Frogs come into the matchup 1-0.

It's the second year in a row and the third time overall that UNC and TCU have faced off, with Carolina winning both previous matchups. The teams met last year in Fort Worth, with UNC winning 79-46 on Nov. 21. Deja Kelly led UNC with a then-career-high 25 points in a return to her home state.
After Saturday's game, UNC has one more home game before hitting the road for the first time. The Tar Heels host South Carolina State on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
