Volleyball Travels To Notre Dame, No.5 Louisville For Back-To-Back ACC Matchups

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Carolina volleyball team is on the road this weekend for back-to-back Atlantic Coast Conference matches, first heading to South Bend for a matchup at Notre Dame, before traveling to No. 5 Louisville.
First serve against the Fighting Irish is on Friday at 6:30 p.m., while the Tar Heels take on the Cardinals on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on ACCNX.

- Anita Babic was named the ACC Freshman of the Week for the third straight week on Monday, the second weekly honor of her career and Carolina's fifth ACC Freshman of the Week honor of the season (Maddy May has two). Babic is the only freshman to in the ACC to earn three honors this season
- Maddy May has tallied seven straight matches with double-digit digs
- Parker Austin has served an ace in five straight matches
- Kaya Merkler leads the team with 94 total blocks on the season. She is just three blocks shy of matching her total blocks from the 2021 season (97)
- Anita Babic currently ranks No. 6 of any freshman in program history with 736 assists, while Maddy May ranks No. 6 in digs with 286 on the season
