Final Results

CLEMSON, S.C. – Two school records fell as the UNC track and field teams competed on Friday and Saturday at the Tiger Paw Invite, hosted by Clemson.

In a busy weekend for Carolina, Tar Heels also competed at Liberty's Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational in Lynchburg, Va.

Both record-breaking performances came on Saturday. In the first event of the morning, Daniel McArthur bested his own school record in the men's shot put with a throw of 68-1 (20.75), good for second in a stacked field.

Early in the afternoon, Anna Keefer set the school record in the women's 200m with a blistering 23.24, beating Latasha Colander's mark of 23.50, which has stood since 1998. Keefer placed fifth in the event.

That finish followed another standout performance by Keefer on Friday, when she missed setting a school record in the long jump by a centimeter. That jump, a PR of 21-2.50 (6.46) that ranks third in school history, put her fifth overall and the top collegiate competitor in the field.
