HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chris Gray scored four goals to pace No. 9 North Carolina to a 14-12 victory over High Point Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened
- High Point's Hunter Vines scored two goals in the first three minutes to give the Panthers an early lead.
- Goals by Chris Gray and Jacob Kelly would tie the game at three before High Point scored a late goal to take a 4-3 lead after one quarter.
- The second would be back and forth as well as the score was tied at six heading into halftime.
- The Panthers would score three unanswered in the third quarter to take the 9-8 lead.
- The Tar Heels would soon answer with a 6-0 run to give them the 14-9 lead midway through the fourth.
- High Point scored three straight late in the game, but it was not enough as UNC would hold on for the victory.

- Cole Herbert racked up three goals in the winning effort.
- Jacob Kelly and Lance Tillman both collected two goals.
- Nicky Solomon collected three assists for the third time this season.
- Freshman Antonio DeMarco (2G) and Paul Barton (1G) scored their first career goal at UNC.
- Zac Tucci went 12-21 at the face-off while picking up a team-leading five ground balls.
- Collin Krieg was solid in the cage and finished with 15 saves and three ground balls
