
Wiltrout Earns ACC Honor

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina's Madison Wiltrout has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Field Performer of the Week following the opening action of the outdoor season.
A graduate student from Connellsville, Pa., Wiltrout reset her own school record in javelin Friday at the Bob Davidson Invitational at High Point. Her very first throw of the outdoor season went a distance of 184-1 (56.12m), the longest in school history and in the nation so far in the young season.

Next up for the Tar Heels is a short trip to Raleigh for the Raleigh Relays on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at NC State.
