No. 1 Women's Soccer Hosts No. 3 UCLA At Dorrance Field

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 1 North Carolina women's soccer team will host No. 3 UCLA at Dorrance Field on Sunday at 12 noon.
The Bruins are the third ranked opponent the Tar Heels will face this season with three more top 10 teams looming on their schedule. UCLA is coming off a 2-1 victory over No. 2 Duke in Durham on Thursday, while UNC is coming off a 3-1 win at Missouri.
Carolina opened the season with a 3-0 win over No. 11 Tennessee after defeating No. 3 BYU, 2-0, in a preseason exhibition game.
The Tar Heels are 3-0 since ascending to the No. 1 ranking with wins over Texas, Baylor, and Missouri, outscoring the trio 11-1.
UNC leads the all-time series against UCLA, 11-1-2, and is unbeaten in its last four matches against the Bruins.
The last meeting in the series came in 2018 with the Tar Heels knocking the Bruins out of the NCAA Tournament on penalty kicks in the quarterfinal round in Chapel Hill.
