The Lead: After a thrilling, double-overtime victory over archrival Duke, North Carolina will look to continue its momentum when it travels to Death Valley in a must-win game to keep its ACC Championship game hopes alive. Storylines:
- Since Mack Brown's return to Chapel Hill, the Tar Heels have gained 500-plus yards 27 times. The Tar Heels enter the matchup with Clemson having gained 500-plus yards in its last three games.
- Against the Blue Devils, UNC kicker Noah Burnette made all six of his field goal attempts, which tied the UNC single-game record for most made field goals and most makes without a miss.
- Carolina has scored 47 times in 51 drives in the red zone this season. The Tar Heels have scored 32 TDs and have made 15 field goals when advancing into the red zone.
