CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – After two games on the road, the No. 3 University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team returns to Dorrance Field to host in-state foe High Point on Thursday, March 23.

UNC is coming off a two-game road stretch, first posting a 20-7 win at Louisville on March 16 before suffering a 13-9 loss at then-No. 3 Northwestern three days later. The Tar Heels, ranked No. 3 in the most recent poll, sits at 7-1 (3-0) on the year.

Reilly Casey and Caitlyn Wurzburger both had career days at UofL: Casey had a career-high seven points (career-high four goals, three assists) while Wurzburger matched her career-high seven points (five goals, two assists).

Prior to the loss against the Wildcats, the Tar Heels had won 47 consecutive regular season games, the second longest streak in NCAA women's lacrosse history. UNC had also won 29 consecutive games, the longest streak in program history.

This will be the 11th meeting all-time between North Carolina and High Point with the Tar Heels leading the all-time series at a perfect 10-0, which includes a 5-0 mark in Chapel Hill. UNC topped HPU, 23-9, on March 23, 2022, in High Point, N.C.

The Panthers sit at 1-5 (0-0 Big South) overall.
