No. 13 Baseball Faces No. 19 Coastal Carolina At The Bosh

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - No. 13 North Carolina steps outside of ACC play Tuesday to host 19th-ranked Coastal Carolina from the Sun Belt Conference. The Tar Heels and Chanticleers are both coming off home series wins over the weekend, with UNC taking two of three from Duke and Coastal winning two of three against Texas State.
Freshman right-handed pitcher Cameron Padgett will make his first start in a Tar Heel uniform and he will be opposed by CCU lefty Levi Huesman.
UNC has won six of the last 10 meetings in the series, including a three-game sweep at Boshamer Stadium last season. North Carolina scored two walk-off wins in the series opener and finale a year ago. UNC trailed by one heading into the ninth inning of the series opener before stringing together four consecutive hits capped by Mac Horvath's base hit to end it. After UNC blanked Coastal 4-0 in the middle game of the series, Eric Grintz delivered a two-out, bases loaded walk-off single in the finale.
