Men's Lacrosse Summer Internship Spotlight

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Several North Carolina men's lacrosse student-athletes are spending their summer developing professional skills for the future, working internships across the entire country.

Paul Barton: Sixth Street - San Francisco, Calif.
Barton is spending the summer working with Sixth Street in San Francisco as a fundamental strategies intern. In his role, Barton is working in distressed debt investing.

Maxwell Cooney: StepStone Group: Baltimore, Md.
Defenseman Max Cooney is working this summer with StepStone Group in Baltimore, Md., as an investor relation intern within the company's venture capital and growth equity sector.

Trevor Deubner: Davis Moore Capital - Raleigh, N.C.
Rising senior Trevor Deubner is spending the summer with Davis Moore Capital in nearby Raleigh as a commercial real estate development intern. In his role, Deubner will shadow his advisor and others around the firm, help create financial models, visit finished and currently managed sites, and help prospect new properties and find new clientele with the project management industry.

Andrew Geppert: Alantra - Boston, Mass.
Geppert is gaining experience during the summer with Alantra in Boston, Mass. In his role as a summer analyst, Geppert is gaining experience in investment banking.

Kent Goode: Manton Capital - New York, N.Y.
Goalkeeper Kent Goode is spending the summer with Manton Capital in New York City. In his role, Goode is working on value based investment projects, looking over financial models, and helping the company research for future projects.

Collin Krieg: Ameriprise and Kuttin Wealth Management - Hauppauge, N.Y.
Rising senior Collin Krieg is gaining experience with Ameriprise and Kuttin Wealth Management. Working in the company's client service department, Krieg is helping advisors within the company serve their clients.

Ethan Larson: Stream Realty - Greenville, S.C.
Larson is spending the summer months gaining experience with Stream Realty in Columbia, S.C., assisting management with daily tasks as a summer analyst.

Ryan Levy: Full Day Productions - New York, N.Y.
Attackman Ryan Levy is working with Full Day Productions in New York City. In his role as a production assistant, Levy is helping the company on various projects, which includes the 2023 ESPY Awards.

Jack Loftus: Nomura - New York, N.Y.
Loftus is working with Nomura in New York City this summer as a global market summer analyst. In his position, Loftus will shadow full-time sales employees within the company and pitch potential option strategy investments.

Logan McGovern: Cantor Fitzgerald - New York, N.Y.
Attackman Logan McGovern is spending the summer with Cantor Fitzgerald in New York. In his role as a sales and trading summer analyst, McGovern will rotate across four desks on the sales and trading floor: structured products, equities, credit and rates.

Ryan O'Leary: Bellucci DaPaoli Family Foundation - Gainesville, Fla.
Midfielder Ryan O'Leary is working this summer with the Bellucci DaPaoli Family Foundation in his hometown of Gainesville, Fla. In his position as an asset management intern, O'Leary will work closely with the grant review board and asset management team.

Edwin Shy is working this summer with Section VII Strategies in Oxford, Miss., as a public policy analyst. Shy is gaining experience in analyzing information regarding client firms in terms of their product policy and government affairs.

Midfielder Harry Wellford is spending the summer months with Link Logistics in New York City, working within the company as an investments analyst.

Caden Whaling: Black Powder Partners
Rising sophomore Caden Whaling is working this summer with Black Powder Partners as an investment analyst. In his internship, Whaling will research emerging energy sectors for investment opportunities, acquisition fundraising, and analyze a variety of markets centered in the American sunbelt.
