"Our season ticket holders are such an integral part of our program," UNC coach Courtney Banghart said. "They bring energy and familiarity to Carmichael, and seeing the same faces in the same seats is such a consistent boost for us all. Having a true homecourt advantage at Carmichael is so important to our success, and we're grateful to our season ticket holders and the Carolina students who make it a reality. We're excited for what lies ahead with this team and hope many will join in on our pursuit this season."
Last season,UNC saw a 44-percent increase in average attendance for home games, including the first sell-out crowd since the 2014-15 season. The Tar Heels went 13-2 at home at Carmichael, 22-11 overall.
Following a third consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament, this year's Tar Heels will take the court at Carmichael in November, with the nonconference schedule to be announced shortly and the Atlantic Coast Conference slate to follow. They return three starters and a total of seven letterwinners from last year's team and will add eight newcomers: five freshmen and transfer students Lexi Donarski, Maria Gakdeng and Indya Nivar.
Information about season parking passes will be distributed at a later date to those who purchase season tickets.
For information on Faculty/Staff tickets and/or ADA seating and parking, please contact the UNC Ticket Office at (919) 962-2296 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
