• Carolina (17-3 overall, 9-0 in the ACC) plays its sixth road game to end the first half of the conference schedule when it travels to Atlanta to play Georgia Tech (9-11, 2-7) on Tuesday, January 30, at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
• The Tar Heels have won 10 straight games, Carolina's longest winning streak since winning 11 in a row over two seasons in 2016-17/2017-18 (last six games to win the 2017 NCAA title and the first five games the following season).
• UNC is 9-0 in the ACC for the ninth time and the first since starting 11-0 in conference play in 2000-01.
• This is the 36th different season the Tar Heels have produced at least one streak of 10 or more wins (first time since two such streaks in 2015-16).
• The Tar Heels have won 17 of their first 20 games for the first time since 2016-17 (that team started 19-3).
• Carolina is 8-0 in January. This is the first time UNC has won eight games in a month since January 2017. The last time UNC won more than eight games in a month was March 2008, when the Tar Heels went 10-0.

• The Tar Heels beat Florida State, 75-68, on Saturday in Tallahassee in a matchup of the top two teams in the ACC standings.
