CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina men's lacrosse program will meet Ohio State in the annual Michael R. Breschi Scholarship Game this Sunday in Columbus.

Carolina and Ohio State continue the annual fall ball scrimmage, with all proceeds going to benefit the Michael R. Breschi Scholarship Fund.

Michael R. Breschi was the eldest child of Carolina head coach Joe Breschi and his wife Julie. Michael was born in Columbus, Ohio, during Coach Breschi's tenure as the head coach of the Buckeyes.

After his passing in 2004, the scholarship was founded to honor Michael, courtesy of the generosity of friends and family across the country. The scholarship is awarded annually to a current member of the Ohio State men's lacrosse team who most exemplifies great companionship, dedication and character.
