Six Freshmen In Top 18 Of ILWomen’s Class of 2024 Power Rankings

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – ILWomen's annual Class of 2024 Power Rankings have been released, and six North Carolina women's lacrosse freshmen are ranked in the top 18. The list is headlined by Addison Pattillo being tabbed the No. 1 recruit.
In addition to Pattillo at No. 1, the rankings also include Kate Levy (No. 3), Eliza Osburn (No. 6), Charlotte Corkins (No. 12), Lexi Zenk (No. 15) and Tess Calabria (No. 18).
No other school has more than two student-athletes in the top 18; one-third of the top 18 are Tar Heels.
An attacker, Pattillo arrived in Chapel Hill playing some of her best lacrosse to date. She totaled 251 goals, 79 assists, 330 points, 321 draw controls, 235 ground balls and 70 caused turnovers during her four years at Wilton High School, including career-highs with 95 goals, 33 assists, 120 draw controls, 89 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers as a senior.
Pattillo capped off her prep career by being named the MVP of the New Balance Senior All-America Game after four goals and one assist.
Levy is the reigning USA Lacrosse National High School Player of the Year and Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year. The two-way midfielder amassed 95 goals, 40 assists, 135 points and 201 draw controls in two years at McDonogh School. She shot 63 percent as a senior, ending that season with 48 goals, 17 assists and 128 draw controls.
Back in August, Levy was one of two college rookies who helped Team USA win gold at the World Lacrosse U20 Championship in Hong Kong. She finished the tournament with 10 goals, seven assists, 17 points and 11 draw controls.
Osburn was tabbed the USA Lacrosse West Region Player of the Year and Colorado Player of the Year in 2024. A dynamic midfielder, she concluded her time at Valor Christian High School with 178 goals, 46 assists, 224 points, 214 ground balls and 68 caused turnovers – notching 34 goals, 17 assists and 65 draw controls during her final season.
Also a midfielder from the Centennial State is Corkins, the 2023 USA Lacrosse West Region Player of the Year. Corkins starred at Colorado Academy where she led her team to a 69-1 record in four years after she registered 111 goals and 96 assists for 207 points. She had 61 points in both her junior and senior seasons.
Zenk is the second-ranked goalie in ILWomen's Class of 2024 Power Rankings. An force in cage, she led St. Anthony's High School to the No. 1 ranking in the country last season. She also impressed at the Senior All-America Game this summer with a .727 save percentage.
A fellow St. Anthony's and Long Island product, Calabria is the 2024 USA Lacrosse Northeast Player of the Year. The attacker contributed 75 goals and 39 assists for 114 points as a senior to help her team to an undefeated campaign. In total, she finished her prep career with 161 goals, 69 assists and 230 points.
