Parker Wolfe Makes History In Boston, Dominates 3000 Meters With Record-Breaking Performance
February 4, 2024 | Track & Field
Parker Wolfe once again etched his name into the record books, this time in the 3000-meter event at the Scarlet and White Invitational hosted by Boston University on Saturday.
With a time of 7:37.41, Wolfe ran the best 3,000 meters of anyone in the country this season, securing the third-best time in the history of the NCAA, the 11th-best American indoor time, another Tar Heel record, and a victory over some of the best distance runners in the country.
Last time Wolfe competed in Boston at the Sharon Coylear-Danville Season Opener, he took home another school record, this one in the 5,000 meters with a time of 13:13.Â
Wolfe and the Tar Heels will be back in Boston next week for the Eagle Invite, during which Wolfe will continue his quest for records and add to his already decorated college career.
