Phillip Earns Trip To Eugene On Day 1 Of NCAA T&F Regional

LEXINGTON, KY.—University of North Carolina graduate student Alex Phillip is headed to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 10000m.
Phillip, is a seven-time Division III champion. Phillip's third-place finish came on the first day of the 2024 NCAA East Regional First Round, hosted by Kentucky.
Ethan Strand took second place in his heat in 3:44.88, in the 1500m.Â
Meanwhile, Andrew Regnier with a time of 1:48.09 placed 9th overall in the 800m.
Craig Saddler II moved on to Friday's quarterfinals in the men's 400-meter hurdles, finishing seventh in the first round in 50.81.
