Jessica Riden Named Head Women’s Manager For Team USATF U-20 World Athletics Championships

North Carolina Associate Director of Track and Field, Jessica Riden, has been selected to serve as the Head Women's Manager on USATF's Under 20 World Athletics Championship Lima 2024 staff. In this role, Riden will play a key role in all aspects of competition.
Riden brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Team USATF staff from her career coaching not only in Chapel Hill but also from her stints at Stanford, Washington, and Penn State. Additionally, her prior experience working with USATF includes serving as Event Manager for the 2022 Under 20 World Athletics Championships in Colombia.
"It's always an honor to represent the United States at an international competition, especially with the excitement surrounding our sport in an Olympic year," Riden said. "The U-20s are a really fun group to be around as most of the athletes are on their first of hopefully many U.S. teams, and it's really exciting to watch them progress throughout the championships and throughout their careers.
The U-20 World Athletics Championships will be taking place in Lima, Peru from August 27th to August 31st.
