Six Incoming Rookies To Play In Senior All-America Game
July 26, 2024 | Women's Lacrosse
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – To cap off their high school careers before officially arriving in Chapel Hill next month, six incoming North Carolina women's lacrosse freshmen are set to participate in the 19th annual Senior All-America Game this Saturday in Baltimore.
The soon-to-be Tar Heels who will earn the sports' most prestigious honor as a Senior All-American include Tess Calabria, Charlotte Corkins, Kate Levy, Eliza Osburn, Addison Pattillo and Lexi Zenk.
The event features the top 44 high school senior girls' lacrosse players in the country, giving the Tar Heels nearly 14 percent of this year's roster. Carolina's six players are the most of any school in the country as no other college has more than four.
Powered by New Balance, the Senior All-America Game will take place on Saturday, July 27, at Johns Hopkins University's iconic Homewood Field in Baltimore, Maryland. The girls' game begins at 5:30 p.m. and will air nationally on ESPNU.
The roster, which was announced back in the spring, was selected by Inside Lacrosse and the selection committee, and all participating seniors must be in good academic standing. The players are divided into two teams – North and South – during the event.

This Tar Heel contingent has experienced great success during their prep careers, entering college as the No. 1 class in the country according to Inside Lacrosse.
Calabria (Northeast), Levy (Mid-Atlantic) and Osburn (West) were all named 2024 Regional Players of the Year by USA Lacrosse, while Corkins (West) earned the honor in 2023. Additionally, Levy was crowned the National Player of the Year and is part of the United States U-20 National Team which will compete at the World Championship next month.
