Track & Field Adds Three New All-Time Marks Saturday

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The final day of the Hokie Invitational featured multiple new personal bests, ACC standard marks and times, as well as movement in the North Carolina track and field top 10 list.
For the second week in a row, Tommy Kitchell (19.69m) moved up the record books. Kitchell is now the number two shot putter in the nation and UNC history, surpassing Vikas Gowda's 2005 mark of 19.60m.
Delea Martins (54.16) moved into eighth all-time in the 400m, passing Kendra Mackey's (54.49) time from 1990 as she finished in second.
Paul Signorelli (5.33m) moved into fourth all-time in the pole vault, passing Rob Rothwell's (5.27m) 1992 height.
Killian Fahy (47.61) won the 400m, earning an ACC Standard time and a new personal best time in the event.
