CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina women's basketball keeps getting better, as head coach Courtney Banghart announced the signing of four-star prospect Noelle Bofia to don Carolina Blue in 2026-27.
"In Noelle, we are adding impactful length and athleticism to our front court," said Banghart. "An elite rebounder and shot blocker, Noelle will add immense value to our interior."
The 6-4 power forward out of Phoenix is set to join the Tar Heels following a stand-out career at Xavier College Preparatory. This past season, she averaged a team-high 17.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.1 steals as the Gators went 20-9 overall. As a sophomore, she helped lead Xavier Prep to its first AIA Girls Open Arizona state title.
Boasting national acclaim, Bofia earned MaxPreps Junior All-America honorable mention this off-season and is touted as the No. 52 overall prospect in the Class of 2026 by ESPN.
Bofia joins Kate Harpring for the Class of 2026 as the future for Carolina Women's Basketball remains bright.
