WBB To Challenge South Carolina In 2026 Ally Tipoff In Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Tar Heels are set to meet a familiar foe next year, as the Charlotte Sports Foundation and Ally Financial announced the teams for the 2026 Ally Tipoff. North Carolina Women's Basketball will square off against South Carolina in the event from the Spectrum Center next fall.
Despite meeting in an exhibition this season, the Gamecocks and Tar Heels will meet in the regular season for the first time since the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. In neutral site games, North Carolina holds a slight 7-6 advantage in the series.
