MBB Grabs NCAA Bid, Will Face San Diego State In Dayton

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—The University of North Carolina men's basketball team has earned a bid to the 2025 NCAA Tournament and will play its first game in the South Region in Dayton, Ohio, on Tuesday night at 9:10 p.m. Eastern on TruTV.
The Tar Heels are a No. 11 seed and will meet No. 11 seed San Diego State with the winner to face No. 6 seed Mississippi on Friday in Milwaukee.
Carolina reached the semifinals of the ACC Tournament on Friday night before losing to Duke and has a 22-13 record this season.
UNC will be competing in the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four seasons under head coach Hubert Davis.
