Men's Tennis Heading To ITA Kickoff Weekend

The University of North Carolina men's tennis team will take part in the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Friday and Saturday in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The Tar Heels will open play on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Wake Forest Tennis Center against Vanderbilt. The host Demon Deacons will play Virginia Tech on Friday at 5 p.m. The winners will advance to Saturday's Kickoff final at 5 p.m. in Winston-Salem.
A live stream will be available, as is live scoring. In addition, Cracked Racquets will have live coverage from all Kickoff sites throughout the weekend.
Whichever team emerges from the weekend unbeaten will qualify for next month's ITA National Team Indoor Championship in Dallas and Waco, Texas. The Tar Heels won the ITA Indoor National title in both 2016 and 2021.
The Tar Heels opened their season with a 7-0 win over Queens on Tuesday at home in Chapel Hill.
