WBB GAME SET FOR NOON; FANS ENCOURAGED TO WATCH AT HOME

CHAPEL HILL. NC - With sleet and freezing rain causing slick road conditions in the Triangle area, the University of North Carolina is encouraging fans to watch today's noon women's basketball game against Syracuse at home.
The game will be broadcast on ACCNX and on the radio at Radio is 97.9 FM/1360 AM, GoHeels.com, the GoHeels App, and the Varsity Network App from Learfield . Doors to Carmichael Arena will open to fans at 11 a.m. for anyone who can safely walk to the game. Parking and other services will be limited.
Games are typically played if both teams and officials can safely get to the stadium; the decision to play was made in coordination with Syracuse and Emergency Management Officials. UNC Athletics will continue to work with Emergency Response Officials to monitor the winter weather event.
