• Carolina has won four in a row, two at home and two on the road.
• The Tar Heels are 13-0 at home this season.
• It was Carolina's 1,100th regular-season ACC game. The Tar Heels are 777-323. The 777 wins are the most by any team.
• Carolina is 19-7 all-time against the Orange, including 8-0 in Chapel Hill and at the Smith Center.
• Caleb Wilson led Carolina in scoring with 22 points, his 16th 20-point game. It was also the 16th time he has led the Tar Heels in scoring (UNC is 13-3 in those games).

• Luke Bogavac scored 10 points, his third consecutive game in double figures, his longest streak since an eight-game stretch in non-conference play.
• Jonathan Powell tied his season high with three 3FGs and scored 12 points.
• It was the second time this season Powell scored in double figures, his first against an ACC opponent. He has 17 career
double-digit scoring games in college (15 last season at West Virginia).
• Carolina led by as many as 32 points (72-40) with 9:39 to play.
• The Orange outscored the Tar Heels, 37-15, over the final 9:38, pulling to within six at 83-77 with 42 seconds to play.
• Carolina's bench outscored Syracuse's bench, 29-16. Carolina's non-starters have averaged 30.3 points over the last four games. The Tar Heels are 13-2 this season when their bench outscores the opponent's bench.
• Six different Tar Heels combined to make eight three-pointers, two more than the Orange. It was the 21st straight game Carolina has won when it made more three-pointers than it allowed.
