Humphrey Claims National, ACC Player-Of-The-Week Honors

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina women's lacrosse attacker Chloe Humphrey has been named USA Lacrosse D1 Player of the Week and ACC Offensive Player of the Week, the organizations announced on Tuesday. The reigning national player of the year matched her career highs with seven goals and nine points against Florida St. last Friday to earn the accolades.
Humphrey is off to a hot start for the Heels with 24 goals and 11 assists in 2026. She's currently one of only six players nationally with 20 goals and 10 assists and one of only two that's only played five games at this point. Her 35 points are tied for third nationally and lead the ACC.
Next up, the Heels travel to Clemson to face the Tigers in a ranked match-up on Wednesday, March 4 at 6 p.m. That game is available on ACCNX. Carolina returns home for another ACC contest this Saturday, when it hosts Pitt at 11 a.m.
