General Info: Should contend for one of the top spots in the lineup...could be one of the top players in college golf and a key to the Tar Heels' success...named to 2000-01 and 2001-02 ACC Honor Roll.
Fall `02: Played in two B-team tournaments in the fall...captured individual championship at the Shootout at Burning Ridge carding a four-under par 140 total...finished in eighth place at the Greensboro College Invitational.
2001-02: Played in three tournaments of the Tar Heels' fall campaign...top finish was a tie for 44th place at the Carpet Capital Classic...played in two tournaments in the spring...tied for 64th place at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship and placed 67th at The Intercollegiate.
2000-01: Played in the final four tournaments of the Tar Heels' fall campaign...posted one top-20 finish as the tied for 19th place at the Ping/Golfweek Preview...played in two spring tournaments, one as an individual...top finish was a tie for 53rd place at The Intercollegiate in which he competed as an individual...also won the individual title of the Lee Nissan/Barton College Intercollegiate, a B-team tournament as he posted a 152 total...awarded the first annual Ed Kenney Award which encompasses attitude, academics and athletics.
Amateur: 2002 German Team Champion with Golf Club Stuttgart Solitude...fired a 67 to set course record at 2002 German Team Championship in Bad EMS...in first place at conclusion of stroke play in Luxemburg International Amateur Championship...played in European Juniors Team Championship for Germany in 2000...played on 1998-2000 German National teams...finished fourth in German Club Championship in 2000...finished ninth in German National Men's Rankings in 1999...finished third at 1999 German National Amateur Championship...placed fifth in 1999 Italian Amateur Championship...top-10 finish at 1999 World Amateur Championship...champion of Baden-Wurttemberg Championship in 1999...ranked second in 1998 German Junior Rankings...played in European Boys Team Championship for Germany in 1998...two-time Club Champion in Stuttgart...placed fifth at Belgian Juniors in 1998.
