2019-20: Finished eighth in the mile final (4:07.01) at the ACC Indoor Championships • Nearly earned first team All-ACC honors in the DMR before three teams, including Carolina, were disqualified for out-of-zone exchanges • Ranks fourth all-time in school history in the distance medley relay (9:46.05) after running the anchor leg at the JDL DMR Invitational • Clocked a personal-best mile time of 4:03.65 at the Valentine Invitational • Also finished seventh in the 1,000 meters at the Hokie Invitational and sixth in the mile at the Power 5 Invitational • Earned Academic All-ACC honors for the 2020 indoor season • Outdoor season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic • Named to the 2019-20 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2019 XC: Finished one spot outside of All-Region honors at the NCAA Southeast Regional, clocking 30:44.5 for 26th place in the men’s 10K race • Was also Carolina’s top finisher at the ACC Cross Country Championships where he finished 27th in an 8K time of 25:05.3 • Scored in each of the four regular season competitions, opening the season with a personal-best 6K time of 19:07.0 at the Elon Opener • Earned Academic All-ACC honors for the 2019 cross country season.
2018-19: Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round where he finished 15th in the men’s 1,500 meters with a finals time of 3:51.00 • Earned second-team All-ACC honors in the 1,500 after clocking 3:44.98 for fifth place • Ran a career-best 800 (1:53.35) for third at the Battle of the Blues • Helped Carolina’s 4x1500 win the Raleigh Relays with a time of 15:42.57 • In indoors, placed seventh in the mile (4:07.05) at the ACC Indoor Championships after clocking a career-best time (4:07.70) in the prelims • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll • Named Athletic Director’s Scholar-Athlete for men’s cross country • Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual.
2018 XC: Finished 45th at the NCAA Southeast Regional with a career-best 10K time of 30:58.0 • Ran a personal-best 8K (24:28.8) to place 32nd at the ACC Championships • Scored for Carolina in two more meets with a 43rd-place finish (25:46.7) at the Penn State National XC Open and a 51st-place finish (25:14.9) at the Battle of Beantown.• Was Carolina’s second-best performer in the final three meets.
2017-18: Finished 15th at the NCAA East Preliminary Round with a 1,500 meter time of 3:45.55 • Headed into the ACC Outdoor Championship 1,500 final ranked sixth and finished the final in 3:49.73 for seventh-place • Ran a leg of the DMR that finished 12th at the ACC Indoor Championships and also completed the mile in 4:14.60 for 22nd • Won the Virginia Grand Prix 1,500 meter competition with a personal-best time of 3:44.69 • Set another career record at the Battle of the Blues, running the 3,000 in a time of 8:21.81 for seventh • Won the 1,500 at the Weems Baskin Relays with a time of 3:54.90 • Selected as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2017 XC: Competed in the Elon Opener, taking ninth.
2016-17: Did not compete during the outdoor season • Set a personal best of 4:10.12 in the mile at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships, taking 14th • Also competed in the DMR at the ACC Indoor Championships • Had six top-10 finishes during the indoor season • Did not compete in cross country • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Competed in track & field for all four years, cross country for three years and soccer for one • Captained his cross country team his senior year • 3-time state champion (1,600, and 4x800) • Helped guide his team to a PIAA State Championship • 3-time New Balance All-American in the 4x800 and the mile • Finished in the top ten percent of his class • Earned the Coaches' Award twice and the Principle's Award twice.
