2019-20 at Princeton: Opened his indoor season in December 2019 with a 16th-place finish in the 5,000 meters (14:00.33) at Boston’s Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener • Won the 3,000 meter title at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge (8:09.05) • Earned second-place finishes in both the mile (4:07.45) and the 4x800 (7:43.89) in a tri-meet against Harvard and Yale • Clocked a personal-best 3,000-meter time of 7:58.30 for 23rd at the Valentine Invitational •.Outdoor season cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 XC at Princeton: Finished 70th (31:41.0) at the 2019 NCAA Cross Country Championships • Earned All Mid-Atlantic Region honors after clocking 30:05.9 for sixth place • Placed seventh at the Ivy League Cross Country Championships (24:51.6) for his fourth All-Ivy XC accolade, making him the first runner in program history to complete a four year first-team All-Ivy sweep • Was Princeton’s top runner in both the Nuttycombe Invitational 8K (31st place, 24:05.8) and the Lehigh Paul Short Run men’s open 8K (4th place, 24:30.6).
2018-19 at Princeton: Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round where he finished 17th in the 5,000 meters (14:16.14) • Earned outdoor All-Ivy honors in both the 5,000 meters (14:20.23) and 10,000 meters (32:06.93) after a runner-up finish in each event • Clocked a personal-best 1,500-meter time of 3:45.96 for fifth place at the Larry Ellis Invitational • Opened the outdoor season with a career-best 5,000 meters (13:53.98) for third place • Indoors, only appeared in the first two meets of the season – the Wesley A. Brown Invitational and a dual meet against Navy • Earned third-place honors in the 1,000 meters one week after setting a career best in the event (2:28.30) for second place in the dual meet.
2018 XC at Princeton: Finished 101st (30:37.3) at the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championships • Earned all-region honors in the men’s 10K (31:11.5) with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional • Placed second overall (24:31.0) at the 2018 Ivy League Cross Country Championships for All-Ivy honors • Won the Princeton Cross Country Invitational men’s 8K race with a time of 23:55.3 • Was Princeton’s top scorer (14th place, 24:58.2) at the Nuttycombe Invitational and helped the Tigers bring home the team title in the men’s B 8K race • Also contributed to the team score at the Spiked Shoe.
2017-18 at Princeton: Outdoors, earned second team All-America honors in the 5,000 meters with a 15th-place finish (14:04.8) at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships • Advanced to the national championship after clocking 14:11.62 for eighth place in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA East Preliminary Round • Scored at the Ivy League Outdoor Championships in two events, running 14:11.14 for third place in the 5,000 and a personal-best 30:26.01 for fourth place in the 10,000 • Set a career record in the mile (4:06.45) at the Larry Ellis Invitational • Indoors, placed seventh in the 5,000 (14:31.68) at the Ivy League Championships • Finished one other 5,000 meter race that season, clocking 14:13.66 for sixth at the Valentine Invitational.
2017 XC at Princeton: Finished 62nd in a time of 30:19.7 at the 2017 NCAA Cross Country Championships • Earned All-Region honors with a fourth-place finish (30:33.5) at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional • Received All-Ivy recognition after placing third overall in the men’s five-mile (24:59.1) run at the Ivy League Cross Country Championships • Made his season debut at the Princeton XC Invitational, where he finished fourth in the men’s 8K (24:08.3) to help Princeton secure the team title.
2016-17 at Princeton: Outdoors, made two appearances during the regular season – the Sam Howell Invitational and the Raleigh Relays • Earned second team All-Ivy honors with a runner-up finish in the 5,000 meters (14:19.20) at the Ivy League Indoor Championships • Finished eighth in both the 1,500 (3:57.01) and the mile (4:15.83) at the 110th NYRR Millrose Games.
2016 XC at Princeton: Finished 94th in a 10K time of 30:49.9 at the 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championships • Received all-region honors with a third-place finish (30:47.2) in the men’s NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional 10K • Set a personal record in the 8K (23:53.5) for third place and All-Ivy honors at his first ever Ivy League Cross Country Championships • Was Princeton’s top scorer at the Nuttycombe Invitational • Also helped Princeton win a tai-meet against Harvard and Yale, placing third overall (25:01.7) as the Tiger’s No. 2 runner.
Prep: 2015 Foot Locker Cross Country Finalist (seventh place) • 2015 state champion (1600) • 2015 CHSAA league cross country champion • Indoor and outdoor MVP of the CHSAA league in 2016 • Eight-time All-America • Third in the two mile at the New Balance Indoor Nationals • Runner-up in the 5000 at the 2015 New Balance Outdoor Nationals • Set school records in the 5K (XC), the indoor 3200, 1600 and 1000 meters as well as the outdoor 3200 and 1600 meters • 2015 state champion in the 1600 • Also fourth in the state in the indoor 3,200 meters and third in the state in cross country as a senior.
Personal: Conor Thomas Lundy is the son of James and Jane Lundy • Born in Mount Kisco, N.Y. • Has an older brother James (Holy Cross ’09) who ran track and cross country for the Crusaders • Family moved from Tuckahoe, N.Y. to Bronxville while he was an undergraduate.
