2017-18: Carolina’s Most Improved Player • Averaged a career-best 73.19 strokes, nearly two shots lower per round than his sophomore season • Played in seven events • Shot a career-low 67 in the final round of the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, helping UNC to a second-place finish • Shot in the 60s three times, including a final-round 69 at Olympia Fields • Was eighth in the Tar Heel and 15th at NC State • Member of the ACC Honor Roll.
2016-17: Played in six events as a sophomore • Was in the starting lineup twice – at Duke and in Puerto Rico • Stroke average of 75.13 over 16 rounds • Had 15 birdies at Duke, most by a Tar Heel in a 54-hole tournament all season • Tied for third at the 36-hole Heel/Pack Invitational • Best 54-hole event finish was a tie for 22nd at UNCW • Shot single-round best 72s three times • Member of the ACC Honor Roll.
2015-16: Played in three events • Was in the starting lineup for the first event of the season at the Carpet Capital Collegiate (T71) • Member of the ACC Honor Roll.
Prep: Finished 22nd in 2015 high school state championship • Had a broken foot throughout much of his senior year • Broughton (Raleigh) captured the 2012 and 2014 N.C. 4A state championships and was second in 2015 • Earned all-state honors in 2013 and 2014 and was Triangle All-Metro and the CAP 8 Conference Player of the Year in 2014 • Averaged 33.6 strokes as a junior • Finished fifth at the 2014 state championship • Three-time all-conference (2012, 2013 and 2014) selection • Played for Coach Anderson Marlowe • Graduated with honors and was a member of the A/B Honor Roll.
