Career: Played two seasons at Loyola Chicago (2019-21) and two at Brown (2021-23) • Totaled 810 points, 356 rebounds and 160 assists and made 114 three-pointers in 131 college games • Scored in double figures 38 times with five 20-point games • Career-high five three-pointers vs. UMass-Lowell and 13 rebounds at Michigan State • Scored 14 points with six rebounds, three assists and two steals in the Smith Center vs. the Tar Heels on 11/12/2021 • Started all 54 games the previous two seasons at Brown • Earned second-team All-Ivy League honors, Academic All-Ivy honors and was a team captain in 2022-23 • Originally from Chapel Hill, where his dad, Doug, was an assistant coach for the Tar Heels from 2000-03 • Last name pronounced WO-jick.
GRADUATE STUDENT SEASON AT CAROLINA (2023-24): Co-winner of the Marvin Williams Carolina Way Award, which honors the player who best exemplifies playing hard, being unselfish and thinking of the team first • Was plus 23 in the three NCAA Tournament games • Hit a three in the Sweet 16 vs. Alabama and was a plus 9 in 15 minutes • Was his best plus/minus since the first two games of the season • Two rebounds, two assists and was plus 6 in the win over Michigan State • First assist vs. the Spartans came on a fastbreak where he hit RJ Davis on the wing for a three that gave UNC a 32-28 lead and his second found Cormac Ryan for another three for an eight-point lead • Hit threes vs. Florida State and Wagner • Season highs in scoring (7) and rebounds (6) in 22 minutes in the home loss against Clemson • Was the fourth time he played 20 or more minutes • Broke a 45-all tie with a three from the left wing with 8:44 to play in the win at Clemson • The three gave UNC the lead for good and was his first three since November 24 vs. Arkansas • Scored five second-half points in the win over Arkansas • Made two threes, one in the opener and the second vs. the Razorbacks • Started the first three games, including the season opener vs. Radford despite taking an errant elbow to the forehead during shootaround the day of the game, which led to 10 stitches • Scored or assisted on eight of UNC’s first 13 points vs. Radford.
SENIOR SEASON (2022-23)
Earned second-team All-Ivy and Academic All-Ivy honors • Made 57 of 150 three-pointers (.380) and was fourth in the Ivy League in assists per game, tied for fourth in rebounds per game and fifth in scoring • Led the Bears with 87 assists, was the co-leader with 35 steals and was second in scoring (14.9 ppg), three-pointers (57) and rebounding (7.2 rpg) • Started all 27 games and averaged 34.6 minutes • Averaged 19.9 points and 3.6 assists over the last eight games • One of eight Division I players to average at least 14.5 points, seven rebounds and three assists • Scored in double figures 24 times with a career-best 25 against Yale in the season finale • Scored 20-plus points five times, all in the last eight games, including 24 at Penn, 20 at Columbia and 25 vs. Yale in his final three games for Brown • Had four double-doubles against Vermont, Loyola Maryland, Michigan State and Cornell • Career-high 13 rebounds at Michigan State • Made a three-pointer in 23 games with multiple threes 16 times • Career-high five 3FGs against UMass-Lowell and four in four other games • Thirteen games with four or more assists with a career-high six four times.

Started all 27 games in which he played (missed the last two games due to injury) • Second on the team with 38 three-pointers and third in scoring with 9.6 points per game • Scored a then-career-high 17 points in wins over Sacred Heart and Harvard • Season-high four 3FGs in wins over Salve Regina, Merrimack and Columbia • Totaled 14 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in UNC’s 94-87 win over Brown in the Smith Center.
AT LOYOLA CHICAGO (2019-21)
Played in 45 games in two seasons for the Ramblers • Scored 61 points with 37 rebounds and 18 assists in 30 games as a freshman and 37 points, 14 rebounds and six assists in 15 games as a sophomore • Scoring high of 10 points as a freshman vs. IUPUI • Made 12 of 29 three-pointers over the two seasons • Recipient of the 2021 Missouri Valley Conference’s Elite 17 Award for having the highest grade-point average of a student-athlete competing in the league tournament championship game • Tw-time member of the MVC Honor Roll.

Attended the La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind. • Helped lead them to an 83-6 overall record, the Dick’s Sporting Goods National Championship as a sophomore and a 31-1 record and runner-up finish as a senior at the Geico National Championship • Two-time captain • Scholar-Athlete Award recipient • Played AAU for the Illinois Wolves • Member of the National Honor Society • Summa Cum Laude Latin Student.
PERSONAL
Born Paxson Walter Wojcik on Aug. 8, 2000, in South Bend, Ind. • Son of Lael and Doug Wojcik • His parents played basketball at Navy and his mother also competed in track • His brother, Denham, plays basketball for Harvard • His father is in his second stint as an assistant coach on Tom Izzo’s staff at Michigan State • He was an assistant coach at UNC from 2000-03, when he helped recruit all five starters on the Tar Heels’ 2005 NCAA championship team • Enjoys card games, puzzles and playing outside with friends • Pursuing a masters in applied professional studies at Carolina.
