General: Three-time returning letter winner who has been an outstanding midfield presence since he enrolled at Carolina...has run in the second midfield unit each of the past three years...also a potential face-off specialist...active in Carolina Outreach programs and the Carolina Dreams program initiated by Tar Heel teammate Dave Werry.
2005 Season: Played in all 13 games for the Tar Heels, starting on two occasions...had six points on three goals and three assists...also scooped up 14 ground balls, including five in the game against Notre Dame and three against Hofstra....named to the 2005 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2004 Season: Appeared in all 15 of the Carolina games as a sophomore...scored nine goals and added three assists for a total of 12 points...started games against Notre Dame and Duke...made the most of his opportunity and notched three goals in those two starts, including a pair of key goals against the Blue Devils...his goal with 8:05 left in regulation forced the game against Duke into overtime where UNC eventually won 10-9...had a goal and an assist versus Limestone...had a season-high four ground balls in the regular-season win over Ohio State...had a goal and an assist as well as three ground balls against Johns Hopkins in the NCAA Tournament.
2003 Season: Played in 12 of 13 games for the Tar Heels, missing only the Denver game with an injury...was an outstanding short stick middie...scored his only goal of the season in the Tar Heels' 14-9 win over Duke...had Carolina's first goal in that game to jump start the UNC offense that night...had 22 ground balls, including a season high six against the Blue Devils...had four ground balls against Stony Brook.
Prep: Graduated from Yorktown High School on June 23, 2002...was a middie on the lacrosse team, played midfield and forward in soccer and ran relays in track...as a lax player, he was named All-America as a senior in 2002...was also an All-State selection...was named All-Section two times...co-captain of the team as a senior...named All-State by Patent Trader, Journal News and North County News...named to 2001 Empire State Team for the Hudson Valley...started for three years in lacrosse with two of those teams making the state semifinals...was the captain of the soccer team as a senior...made Honor Roll 14 of 16 quarters in high school...member of National Honor Society.
