Prep:  Reigning North Carolina 4A State Champion in the high jump • Earned all-conference honors as the conference champion in the high jump • Qualified for nationals • Captained her high school track and field team • Also played basketball and volleyball, which she captained, earned all-conference, and was voted MVP • Member of the National Honor Society and was a Crosby Scholar • Graduated in the top 10 percent of her class • Volunteered at the Humane Society and received a model volunteer award.
