Latifah Coleman begins her third season as the Head Video Coordinator for the Carolina women’s basketball team for the 2018-19 season.
A native of Pageland, S.C., Coleman played portions of five seasons with the Tar Heels from 2011-15. She started her final two seasons at point guard, leading UNC to a 53-19 overall record with an appearance in the NCAA Elite 8 in 2013-14 and the Sweet 16 in 2014-15.
Coleman was named to the NCAA Tournament Greensboro All-Region Team in her final season. She averaged a career-high 6.8 points per game and led the team with 3.1 assists per game.
Earlier in her redshirt senior campaign, Coleman was named MVP of the Rainbow Wahine Shootout after scoring a career-high 19 points with six rebounds and six assists in a win over No. 5 Stanford.
