Kate Foster

Kate Foster is an undergraduate assistant and manager for the 2017-18 UNC gymnastics team. A graduate of Auburn High School in Rockford, Illinois, she plans on double majoring in economics and biology before pursuing a career as a doctor. In high school, Foster was an AP Scholar with honor, an Illinois State Scholar, and the recipient of the USA Gymnastics Robert E. Miller Spirit of the Flame Award.
Foster has already participated in multiple speaking and fundraising opportunities for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In 2017, she announced the second round draft pick for favorite NFL team, the Chicago Bears. Foster is also a member of the UNC club gymnastics team. She previously trained at the Gymnastics Academy of Rockford.
