As a Junior:
Competed on floor in each meet for the Tar Heels • Recorded her first top-five finish of her career against Towson on 2/9 with a 9.700 • Earned a season high 9.775 on floor in the second meet of the season on 1/19 at home against Oklahoma and Ball State • One of five Tar Heel student athletes Inducted in to Phi Beta Kappa in 2019 • Named a WCGA Scholastic All-American.
As a Sophomore:
Made four exhibition appearances on floor for the Tar Heels • Performed against Temple, Towson, Yale, Ursinus, Brown and Pittsburgh • Topped her personal record against Brown with a score of 9.750 • Broke that record in her next appearance with a score of 9.800 in her final performance of the season against Pitt • Earned Dean’s List honors at UNC • Named to the NACGC/W Academic All-America Team • Earned EAGL Academic honors for the second consecutive year.
As a Freshman:
Competed on floor exercise for the Tar Heels in five meets with three exhibition performances against William & Mary and UCLA • Broke a personal record in her first appearance of the season against Florida in Carmichael Arena • Floor score of 9.725 earned her ninth place in the meet against the Gators • Tied her personal record (exhibition) against UCLA during her final performance of the season • Recipient of EAGL Academic Honors for her achievements in the classroom.
Prep:
Attended Park City High School • Trained at Black Diamond Gymnastics and Sports Center in Park City, Utah • At the Level 9 Western Championships in 2015, she placed fifth in the all-around and sixth on the balance beam • Placed sixth on the balance beam, floor routine and all-around at the Regionals in 2015 • At the 2015 Utah State Championships, she earned first place on the balance beam, floor routine and all-around • In 2014, she took first on the bars and second place on the vault, beam, floor and all-around at the Utah State Championships • Qualified to Regionals from 2010 to 2016.
Personal:
Daughter of Jim and Mary Antinori • Born Jamie Christine Antinori in Park City, Utah, on July 17, 1998 • Earned third place at the Health Administration at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competition • A member of National Honor Society during all four years of high school • Finished high school with a 4.0 GPA and graduated fourth in her class • Was on the honor roll during every quarter of high school • Plays the violin and the cello • Has a cousin who is a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings • Played violin in the high school orchestra during her freshman through junior years and the chamber orchestra during her senior year.

What is the best thing about being at UNC? The great balance of academics and athletics. It really is the best of both worlds.
Away from gymnastics and my academic pursuits, I like to spend time… doing jigsaw puzzles, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
My greatest strength as a gymnast is… my work ethic
Biggest sports thrill and why? Watching UNC Basketball throughout the NCAA tournament and winning the National Championship in 2017!
Person who had the greatest influence on your career and why: My parents - they were always there for me no matter what, and my coach Amanda who gave me the confidence I could do college gymnastics.
Favorite Book: Harry Potter Series, The Book Thief

Funny or interesting fact about yourself: I don’t like fruits
Favorite class at UNC and why: Biology 202 (Genetics), Biology 252 (Anatomy) and Psychology 245 (Abnormal Psych) because I love learning about the body and everything that goes on in the body all the time. It’s also so cool to learn about what happens when those processes don’t go right.
At what age did you first start participating in gymnastics and what is your earliest memory of gymnastics? Age 5 – I remember having so much fun jumping off “Little Thumper,” the springboard for preschoolers at my gym
