(Savannah Country Day School) and Jeremy Elliott of Chapel Hill (East Chapel Hill High School.).
"I'm very happy to sign these four outstanding players," said Inman. "These four young men are excited with the opportunity to become part of our program and we are glad that they decided to become Tar Heels."
At the same time, University of North Carolina women's golf coach Sally Austin announced the signing of one recruit for the 1999-2000 season. Abby Spector of Waterville, Maine (Waterville High School) signed a letter of intent to play for the Tar Heels.
"Abby is a talented player who has only been able to play golf four months out of the year so her potential is unlimited," said Austin. "We're thrilled to have her coming to Carolina and she is excited about becoming a Tar Heel."
