North Carolina Women's Basketball Falls To No. 4 Notre Dame 78-55

The Tar Heel women's basketball team hosts the fifth Wachovia Challenge attendance event of the season on Sunday, January 14 when they face rival North Carolina State at 1 p.m. In the past two and a half years, Wachovia has held 18 challenge attendance events, with 17 exceeding the attendance goal. The one event that did not meet the attendance goal occurred last January during one of the worst snowstorms in North Carolina's history.

This challenge event will attempt to break the all-time ACC attendance record for a women's basketball game with an attendance goal of 14,600. The contest will be played at the Dean Smith Center and the first 1000 fans receive a free Rally Rag. Please come out with your family and friends to support the Tar Heels so we can shatter the record books!
