Women's Basketball Season Tickets Now Available

University of North Carolina women's basketball season tickets are now on sale for the 2001-02 campaign. UNC opens the season on Nov. 9, hosting George Mason in the preseason WNIT.
Season tickets are $62 for adults and $40 for students 13 through college. Seniors 55 and over also receive a special rate of $40. Children 12 and under are admitted to games for free. Packages include all 17 regular-season home games.
Available this year for the first time is a mini-season packet, which includes any eight regular-season home games. The mini-season packet is $36, $22 for seniors and students.
Single-game tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students with the exception of the WNIT games, which are $6 and $5. Carolina faculty, staff and students are admitted free with a UNC One Card.
For the second year, UNC fans can support ovarian cancer research by purchasing a season ticket package. Coach Sylvia Hatchell will donate $5 to the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center for each season ticket purchased.
