Barksdale Earns Another All-America Honor

North Carolina forward LaQuanda Barksdale is one of 10 players named first-team All-America by the Women's Basketball News Service. Barksdale, a 5-11 senior from Winston-Salem, N.C., also was selected as Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year by WBNS.
Joining Barksdale on the All-America team are Jackie Stiles (Southwest Missouri State), the WBNS Player of the Year, Ruth Riley (Notre Dame), LaToya Thomas (Mississippi State), Marie Ferdinand (LSU), Kelly Miller (Georgia), Chantelle Anderson (Vanderbilt), Katie Douglas (Purdue), Deanna Jackson (Alabama-Birmingham), and Stacey Dales (Oklahoma).
