Gormsen Named All-Tournament

GREENSBORO, N.C. - University of North Carolina senior defenseman Bobby Gormsen was named Sunday to the All-Tournament Team at the 2001 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship in Orlando, Fla.
Gormsen was the only Tar Heel named to the All-Tournament team. He led an outstanding effort by the third-seeded Tar Heels in the ACC Tournament semifinals which just fell short in an 11-9 loss to Duke. The Blue Devils went on to win the ACC championship on Sunday witha 10-6 upset win over top-seeded Maryland.
