BALTIMORE, MD. - The University of North Carolina is ranked 16th this week in all three major lacrosse polls.
The Tar Heels are 16th in the Brine/360Lacrosse.com Division I Men's Lacrosse Rankings for week 11 ending April 30, 2001. Princeton received all 11 first place votes in the balloting.

North Carolina is also ranked 16th in this week's Warrior/InsideLacrosse.com Men's NCAA Division I Lacrosse Media Poll. The Tar Heels finished their regular season at 6-6 last week with a season-ending 27-7 rout of Pfeiffer.
Princeton retains the top spot after clinching its seventh-straight Ivy League title with a 19-2 win over Dartmouth. Stony Brook breaks into the Top 25 for the first time after a big win over UMBC.
