CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Season tickets for the 2002-03 North Carolina women's basketball campaign are now available from the UNC ticket office. In addition to admission for all home games, season ticket holders get other benefits, including preferred parking for games, VIP receptions with the team, a 2002-03 UNC women's basketball media guide, and more.
Season tickets are $56 for adults and $35 for students and seniors. A mini-season package that includes admission to eight games also is available for $32 for adults and $20 for students and seniors. There is no admission charge for children under 12, and UNC faculty, staff and students get in free with a UNC One card.
The Tar Heels will play 16 games at Carmichael Auditorium this season, beginning on Nov. 22 when in-state rival Davidson visits. Homecourt Atlantic Coast Conference play begins on Jan. 5 when the Wolfpack of NC State comes to Carmichael.
Carolina finished the 2001-02 season with a record of 26-9 and a No. 11 final ranking. The Tar Heels return four starters from that game, including first-team All-ACC player and All-America candidate Coretta Brown, a senior guard and team captain.
To purchase tickets, or for more information, call the UNC ticket office at (800) 722-HEEL (4335) or (919) 962-2296.
