Aloha, Tar Heel fans!
Today was our day of history. We went to Pearl Harbor and visited the wreckage of the USS Arizona, where 1,177 men perished. After that, we went to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, where 33,000 people (soldiers and their families) are buried. Seeing these things renewed my American pride and gave me an overwhelming feeling of gratefulness for those who have and continue to serve our country.
I hope everything is going well back on the mainland.
