Carolina Golfer Dustin Bray Selected Ping All-Region

Chapel Hill, N.C . - Dustin Bray, a senior on North Carolina's golf team, was selected to the Ping All-South Region team announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Bray was one of 15 players named to the All-South Region team.
ray, from Asheboro, N.C., was recently selected to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team becoming Carolina's first four-time all-conference honoree. He was named to the 2003 Ping All-America first team and the 2002 Ping All-America second team. Bray respresented the United States at the 2003 Palmer Cup and at the 2002 U.S./Japan matches. He became Carolina's winningest golfer this year with seven victories to his credit.
The Tar Heels begin play Tuesday at the NCAA Championship at the Homestead Resort's Cascades Course in Hot Springs, Va. The 72-hole event continues through Friday with the 30-team field cut to the top 15 teams after 54 holes.
