BALTIMORE, MD. - Senior defenseman Stephen McElduff of Yorktown, N.Y. and senior attackman Ryan Blair of Auburn, N.Y. have been named to the preseason All-America Teams named Tuesday by Inside Lacrosse/Face-Off Yearbook. McElduff was named a first-team All-America on defense while Blair was an honorable mention All-America choice in the attack.
The Tar Heels were picked as the No. 14 team in the nation in the Faceoff preseason poll, based on the votes of 55 NCAA Division I coaches. The Tar Heels were picked to finish fourth in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
