CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina (20-0) plays the second of three straight home games when the Tar Heels host Georgia Tech Thursday night at 7 at Carmichael Auditorium. Carolina has won 20 straight to open the season for the second year in a row after defeating Connecticut 82-76 on Monday night. The Tar Heels are ranked No. 2 in the nation in both polls for the 11th straight week. Georgia Tech is 11-6 after defeating Miami 52-37 on Monday.

GEORGIA TECH SERIES NOTES
North Carolina is 46-11 all-time against Georgia Tech, including a 19-5 mark in Chapel Hill.
The Tar Heels scored an 85-56 victory in Chapel Hill last season.

ATLANTA (AP) --- Camille Little scored 18 points, Ivory Latta and LaToya Pringle each added 16 and No. 2 North Carolina rallied in the second half for a 69-57 win over Georgia Tech in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener for both teams. North Carolina trailed at halftime for the first time all season before coming back to beat the Yellow Jackets.
SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
Senior guard Stephanie Higgs leads Georgia Tech in scoring with 16.0 points per game.
Junior forward Janie Mitchell leads the rebounding effort, averaging 6.7 boards per game.
Georgia Tech is the first opponent the Tar Heels are facing for a second time this season. The two teams met just 16 days ago in Atlanta, a 12-point UNC win.
