The Carolina Men's Golf Team Travels To ACC Champiohships

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -
The University of North Carolina men's golf team travels to New London, N.C., Friday through Sunday to play in the 2010 ACC Men's Golf Championships. The 54-hole event will be played at the Old North State Club which features a par 72, 7,102-yard layout.
The Tar Heels will begin teeing off Friday at 11:10 a.m. and are paired with Clemson and Florida State. Action gets underway at 8:30 with Maryland and Virginia off the tee, while Georgia Tech, Duke and Wake Forest begin play at 9:10 and NC State, Boston College and Virginia Tech tee off at 10:10.
Carolina's lineup consists of Jack Fields, a sophomore from Southern Pines, N.C.; Henry Zaytoun III, a junior from Raleigh, N.C.; Michael McGowan, a freshman from Southern Pines, N.C.; Kevin O'Connell, a junior from Cary, N.C.; and Chase MacFarland, a senior from Savannah, Ga.
