No. 13 Tar Heels Visit Clemson Thursday

CLEMSON, S.C. --- North Carolina puts its four-game winning streak on the line Thursday as the Tar Heels visit Clemson at Littlejohn Coliseum at 7 p.m. Carolina is 21-3 on the year (7-2 in the ACC) after a 62-60 win over No. 5 Duke on Monday. Clemson is 10-14 (3-6 ACC) following a 78-49 loss at Boston College on Sunday. UNC is ranked No. 13 in the AP poll and No. 10 in the coaches' poll. Clemson is unranked.

CLEMSON SERIES NOTES
North Carolina is 48-26 all-time against Clemson, including a 14-14 mark in Clemson.
Carolina won the lone matchup in 2010, a 79-61 victory in Chapel Hill.
The Tar Heels have won 15 straight against the Lady Tigers, UNC's longest winning streak in the series.
Clemson's last win in the series came in 2001, a 75-57 victory in the ACC Tournament. The Lady Tigers have not beaten the Tar Heels at home since a 69-65 win in 2000.

Senior guard Sthefany Thomas leads the Lady Tigers in scoring with 12.5 points per game. Fellow senior guard Kirstyn Wright is close behind with 12.3 per outing.
Senior forward Jasmine Tate is tops on the team in rebounding with 7.1 boards per contest.
Clemson is led by first-year head coach Itoro Coleman. Most recently an assistant at Penn State, Coleman was one of the best players in Clemson history from 1995-99 and was named to the ACC 50th Anniversary Team.

CHAPEL HILL (AP) --- Waltiea Rolle had the go-ahead three-point play with 3:20 left and blocked Chelsea Gray's shot on the final play to help No. 13 North Carolina beat No. 5 Duke 62-60 on Monday night. Italee Lucas scored 17 points to lead the Tar Heels (21-3, 7-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who fought through a tough and often ugly rivalry game before holding on to win in a thrilling finish.
