Watts Selected ACC Rookie Of The Week

Watts averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in leading North Carolina to a 2-1 record last week.
Watts' best game of the week featured her second double-double of the year for the 5-11 guard. She recorded 21 points and 10 rebounds and registered a season-high six blocks in a victory over USC Upstate on Wednesday. She followed that performance up with five made 3-pointers, and 17 points and seven rebounds in a come-from-behind victory over Southern Miss on Sunday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
For the week, the Wesley Chapel, North Carolina native made 11 three-pointers and shot 42.9 percent from behind the arc.
Watts is averaging 12.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game this season.
North Carolina (8-5) will host New Hampshire on Dec. 29 at 2 p.m.
